7x14 Alpina alloy Rims?

These were on the 76 530i when the PO bought the car new. I normally see "6"X14 Alpina alloy rims for sale but not the "7"s. Were the 7's a dealer upgrade that was originally for the performance Alpina 530i?

7x14 was standard on e9 CSL.

HB528i Aha! So the dealer must have had some in stock and sold them to the PO instead of the stock 6x14's. Makes sense now.

They were available for years afterwards, I think Walloth still sells them.
