A long time ago I heard an e24 run, so quiet and clickity free it sounded new.
Is it age/miles that effects valve train noise ? I just adjusted to slip fit .10. Sounds nice but not dead quiet. I'll leave it as I'm used to it with high miles but I'm curious anyway.
Once done I had to turn the idle screw in the throttle body out one turn to get it to 800 again. Positive it's timed right and it's running great now.
What's adjusting valves do to idle setting ? Sure is a daisy chain of adjusting factors.
