Blaise,
I think the reason i got lower emissions is that either the equipment was not functioning properly, or there were vacuum leaks that got solved while capping the lines for the airpump/egr.

I should say that i did do some other repairs between getting emissions when i bought it stock and ...

Man that sucks you couldn't take the EGR valve off. I am going to try to remove mine when i swap my thermal reactors for normal manifolds (i have a '75). I disconnected the egr system and air pump after i passed my final emissions test here in CO, but havent removed the egr or thermals yet.

Will e24 Euro headers fit '75 530i?

I am looking to replace the thermal reactor setup on my '75 530i and i saw these e24 headers on CL in my area. Does anyone know if/how these fit? its from an e24 Euro 635i so an M30 engine and should bolt right up to my 530i right?

So i decided to get an electric fan from flex-a-light, a used e28 radiator, and all new coolant hoses from AZautohouse ...

Loose fan clutch

Hi all, I have a loose fan that made a lot of racket on my way home a few days ago. The fan clutch has about a 1/2" wiggle which is letting the blades hit one of the pulleys. The fan clutch is the old one with a big central bolt and I have tried tightening the bolt with no luck. I can loosen it but ...
