Has anyone heard of Bav. Motor Exchange in Rancho Cordova? My mechanic hasn't and I guess he wants to do business with them, but, he wants to know the reputation of them. He fixed my computer chair wheel for me for free, so, I guess I can do this for him. Thanx in advance,,,,Greg

Yes I have heard of them and no it wasn't good. I've never dealt with them personally so it's all second or third hand info, but they don't have the best reputation. Do a search on Mye28.com, there should be something there, it's been discussed a number of times there.

Rancho Cordova has a bunch of wrecking yards, but when I went to a few of them, NONE admitted they had anything for an E12 or E24. Rumor is they have some E28s, especially 528e.
I get the impression from a BMW specialty yard that if they can't sell it fairly quickly, they don't deal with it.
