Oxygen Sensor in Exhaust Manifold

Here's another scenario.
If I only switch the exhaust manifold from the '80 to the '75, would I need to change the ECU also because of the OS?
I might not change the FI system as it is a VERY intricate & time consuming event. I WILL change to the electronic ignition though.
