Random question here...What is the proper length for fuel hose going from the fuel rail to each injector? I had written it down before I cut everything, but I seem to have misplaced the paper I wrote on. Thanks!

No face punching.
My logic and experience replacing the old hard stuff for new ( factory BMW only ), needed the rail removed from the engine and each bit of hose gently cut, or burned off to not booger the barbed fittings.
To use any of the removed pieces. Mind the curve, place atop the new length of hose, use xacto knife to cut the copy. Careful to use the same piece, not to get much difference in the six new pieces.
Never measured nothin' in inches or meters. Doing that would need bending around the curve, extra fooling around. Unless you have no old pieces to measure ?
The little bell washer deals on the ends of the hose are all you need for sealing.

Yeah I measured them out with everything still attached, so I don't have anything to compare to now. Just need a rough idea of how long.

About 1 1/2 to 2".
Be sure to go to the dealer for original BMW fuel injector hose.

Lenny is a bigger dog than me, so I have to say there are some things that we should go to the dealer for, but, not many.
Like the moulding clips, the glovebox latch, the F. Inj. hoses & similar small critical stuff.
Check in here first, though. Greg
