relay under the clock?

Anyone know what the relay underneath the clock does?

If it's the one I'm thinking of, more behind the clock than underneath it, it should be the blower changeover relay, when you turn on the A/C, it cuts out the heater blower and switches in the A/C blower. It's a 5 pin relay with NO and NC contacts. The relay itself rarely fails, but the switch that runs it can either break or develop burned contacts, AND it's riveted in place.
