Part # for piece that holds battery

Post by Luke »

Anyone know the part number for the piece that the battery sits on? Mine is rusted through, can't seem to find it in the catalog.

Another less pressing issue is the kickpanel underneath the steering wheel, I hope it is not NLA as mine is in awful shape.

Common problem. You might want to consider patching it if you don't have welding gear.
Plate is no. 1 in pic

Thanks! $35 is well worth it instead of patching, mine is pretty much a frame. Now how about that kick panel? I think it is #51451869987 but I'm not positive.

I'll check the garage tomorrow and see if I have a spare kick panel out there. I parted that M535i (clone) a few years back and I kept most of that stuff... somewhere.
