Anyone have pictures of a Motronic 3.5 transplant?

Hi, I did one of these on my E9 Coupe a few years ago using the hydraulic brakes from the E28 as well. I imagine the job is about the same on an E12. Anyone in Northern California have one of these already set up I might take a look at?

I'd post my coupe pics but cannot figure out how this works!

Anyone done this in an E-12? If the pics load, these are shots of my 74 Coupe with the conversion I am planning for my 1980 528i. These were work in progress photos of the CS.

If anyone has any experience with this conversion who's interested in talking about it, let me know. SF Bay Area here...that means junkyards full of practically free parts. That is a custom veneer curly maple dash with the center speaker eliminated. That may be an interesting sight in the 528i. Anyone done any unique veneers? ImageImage

There's a guy in San Rafael who did one, I think I sold him the bellhousing and flywheel, he kept the vacuum booster though. I'm staged for it, I've got the bellhousing, a lightweight motronic flywheel and a motronic cam (with L-jet adapter in place currently) in it currently, with L-jet manifolds, but I'm pretty much ready to go when I have time and energy, and I'm just futher in the north bay.

I'll see if I can make the pics work.

The other two looked like duplicates. Just use the "img" button before and after the address to post pics.

Nice looking car, but it looks like something's wrong with the dash, I don't see any cracks, LOL.

I just noticed your front spring spacers, one on the top on one side, nothing on the other. Just exactly like I had on my old Bav!

I think one of the spacers got lost. They look better up there as load distributing washers.

Looks like you painted it during the engine swap.

True I went alpine weiss two. It's going to the junkyard soon :). The A-pillars are rusting from inside out.
