In the glove box, lift curtain, push tab, pull big ecu plug. Pry rotten grommet thing out of firewall.
Good. Then what ? Take glove box all apart, fuddle inside grommet out, have friend feed big plug out screwy inside, outside firewall holes ?
I'd like to do it the pro way, not the mule and chain way.

That and lube it up with some silicone spray so it slides out.

Just did mine. As Mike says - shoot the inner grommet with silicone then push it through(out) with a large screw driver. Odds are your engine bay / outer grommet is rotten enough to not need lube. The harness and plug just bend and snake out through the outside.
