BMW part number for M30 engine mounts on E12 is 11811132322
I have a spare new MTC #1239 and measures 48.5mm
and looks like this
currently Prices for new ones in OZ are :
optimal F8 5432 for $ 77 https://www.supercheapauto.com.au/p/opt ... 3D&start=1
or $25AU for MTC https://iapaustralia.com/129442 + $5 postage
or in US
$7.50 US for MTC https://www.btenrivtc.com/engine-mount- ... 165701.htm free shipping for orders over $40
$12US for MTC https://www.rogerstii.com/bmw-528i-635c ... ine-mount/
$81US for BMW @ rogerstii.com FCPEuro are $93.58
My 77' and 80' 528i both have bmw engine mounts which measure 43mm - thats 5mm less than the new MTC one.
To what extent have these BMW ones squished - are they 48mm when new?
My question - When ought they be changed - is the squashed measurement an indicator?
If changing the mount I presume they ought to be done in pairs ie left and right at same time.
