BAD!

Success! Well, after wasting my time sending my fuel injectors away ($150) for service and today still no success in getting my long-sleeping 1980 BMW 635csi Euro running, I read on this board about someone's ECU problem....

BINGO.

I had a spare ECU from the previous owner, and lo and behold... IT FIRED UP IMMEDIATELY and runs like a champ. Now, to get the clutch bled (pedal is on the floor) and see how this thing drives after sitting for over 3 years.

I am putting this car on the market immediately as I need to get it out of my garage.

1980 BMW 635csi Euro (grey market)
Euro engine
Dogleg 5 speed trans.

Engine runs STRONG. I am in the Stamford, CT area.

I would temporarily plug the other ECU back in to verify that the unit is in fact bad and not just a faulty connection.
