E28/E12 front hub & wheel bearing interchangeability

Education required for a numpty. Can E28 & E12 front hubs & wheel bearings be interchanged?

Adjustable on e12, sealed on e28.
E12 wheel bearings are really cheap and not difficult to change. And any autoparts store has them in stock as they are some US size IIRC.
