How you are going to solve electric issue. If you solved that you should be fine with the rest. Are you swapping the radiator as well. Also if your car is from 1976 brake booster sticks out could be a problem for intake manifold

Your booster neck is shorter than the one I have in my 1975 530i. When I did the swap to M30B32 I had to keep the original manifolds.
I am very happy with B32 and 5 speed 265 getrag.

If you are in Germany, that is understandable, that it is complicated to do the swap.

Are you putting a M30B34 or B35?
I swapped the original engine from M30B30 to M30B32 and it was easy.
Since my 530 is from 1975 I had to use original bores. There was not enough clearance from brake buster.
