Some of you may recall the '79 Euro6 I found at the Salvation Army a few years ago, maybe three. One of the turn-ons was the manual sunroof.
You pushed a small, recessed bar/handle toward the rear & it unlocked like a lever & just slid back unhampered. Push it forward & it locked in place like you close the car door. I had never seen that before or since.
