EGR RESET BOX WIRING: NECESSARY?

Post by CBradio »

Now that Im under my car, I noticed a group of wires connected to the EGR reset box.

It seems the box is necessary atleast in so far as the speedo passes through there, but what about the cable connector and group of wires that go along with it? Can I cut them out?

I will look through the wiring diagram of course, but still wanted some thoughts from you gents here.

It just runs the dashboard top light based on a set mileage. If you don't care about the light, then you don't need the wires running to the under car box.

I don't care about the light; I will get rid of the wires.

Thank you
