engine swap question or advise
I have on my domain an m20b27 with an "I" head. Has a 5 speed getrag 260 if im not mistaken. My question is, has anybody put an m20 on an e12 before? The e12 I have is an automatic, so im trying to throw this in there. Im a fabricator, so im not really scared of that. Im thinking on geting donor parts from another e30 and adapting it to the e12. Any advise? Thanks in advance
BMW put M20s in non US market cars from 77 til the end of production. Just the 2.0 but externally it would be the same.

Pedal bracket and a few parts like pedals and hydraulics. Easy enough and the same as a conversion on a M30 car.Danval wrote:thanks.
