Hey Danval,

I too have been researching a coil over kit for my E12. I spent a lot of time pondering whether I should go ground control or IE. I have been talking to Jeff at IE and he has given me a quote for a kit. He listed the front as $320 and the rear at $290, this includes adjustable height hardware, spring perch and a set of springs.

I do not completely know whether this kit would be comparable to the E9s. The actual components are similar from E9s to E30s, but the actual fitment I am not sure of.

Cheers

Max, i spoke with jeff (IE) yesterday. He mentioned that the front setup is the same as an E9 and rear as the E28. Also spoke with my other friend, who used to work at IE as well, and told me its not necessary to go with coil over conv on front. He has a completely built E9. Now on that im not really sure. I still want to be able to adjust hight to my liking. Personally, im going with stiffer springs because i want my car lower to get tight fitments, so im not worried at all with comfort. I purchased all my e30 stuff from IE, i will measure strut diameter whenever i get a chance and go from there. I was reading another thread here in first fives, now, these guys were recommending to go with 7" height all around. Also to go with konis in the front. I want to make something work and post everything i used with part numbers and issues, so people can have something for reference. Thanks again
