Okay so i had an earlier question about the problem with the my car and its ability to drive in a straight line when i slam on the brakes i decided to update the brake lines and fluid and check the calipers out this week when i put new shocks in. I did have a question though. I took the car in to get it aligned and my rear wheel toe and camber adjustment are severely off. Is their anyway to get the rear wheels aligned?
There are alignment and body shops equipped to inspect frame dimensions and suspension mounting points. Short of that, if you are confident your car has never been in an accident to tweek those starting points, your mission will be to inspect, most likely replace, the suspension bushings and parts that have gotten mushy or worn over 35 years.

Well, technically, but replacing a rear bushing that is now made of dust and spider eggs with a supple new rubber one is going to affect dimensions.wkohler wrote:The only actual adjustment on these cars is toe in front. appreciate the replies gentlemen. my babe did suffer through an accident. the total adjustment is off by a little more than half a degree on the left side. damage could have been done to the trailing arm, further inspection is awaiting post the side yard remodel. lol. ill check the bushings, even though the outer seal looks promising.
