triple carb setups

Post by wolfswest »

Hi guys,

I have an euro 525 with a solex 4A1 carb. Not the most easy carb ever. I always liked the looks of a straight six with a triple carb setup. Since I have a source to get me some “cheap” solex or dellorto 40 carbs I started dreaming… Does anybody have pictures of a triple carb setup in an E12? I’m afraid that the brake booster is a deal breaker… Relocating this isn’t an easy job anymore.

Another question. IF it’s “plug and play” would I gain a few horses? I would go for 40’s with small venturies so I wouldn’t sacrifice much low end power…

If you spend a bit of time with Google you'll find some examples on line.

Looks very cool!
