'Low fuel "warning light?
....stays on when tank is full. What is the most common electrical gremlin....wiring from sender or gauge itself? Best way to track it down?

Does the guage itself work?canada karl wrote:....stays on when tank is full. What is the most common electrical gremlin....wiring from sender or gauge itself? Best way to track it down?
On my car, The connector at the fuel tank doesn't have a "clip" to lock it on, it actually slides in and out of the connector quite easily. Doesn't look like it ever did. Pick up the trunk carpet, and there is a circle cutout (3 screws) that lets you get to the connector without dropping the tank. Also check the wires that cross the trunk floor, for cuts/breaks, while you are right there. They look like they could be easily damaged from having a heavy item rolling around your trunk.
