I developed a starting problem today.
This morning car would not start, no lights, nothing on go position.

This is what I did:

no power in car except for emergency flashers
Battery voltage 12.8v
all fuses look good
Starter did not work, service plug #1 to +12v

While checking starter again, 12.8 v ...

I'm still having starting problems. I have spark, I have fuel pressure and volume, The fuel injection plug pulses.
Car will try to start with the gas from cold start injector and immediate die. I use the service port to turn the starter with the ignition on. plugs are dry.

I have been having a problem with my 528i.
It started to while stop running. I tracked this down to a bad ignition module. Replaced it and it started right up. The next day it tried to start it It starts right up but stalls immediatly when the key is releasted. It starts right up but stall ...

Thanks for the inputs. I just wanted to make sure the pressures I was seeing were in spec before I troubleshoot a blinking oil pressure sender. Better to know its the sensor before low oil pressure kills the engine.

What would expect the oil pressure to be on a 190k 528i

I'm getting 70-75 @1,000 rpm ,150 psi @3,000 cold
20-25 @1,000 rpm, 50 psi @3,000 hot
