Top tube enters the pump, hex nut on what looks like a washer. Fluid appears to be leaking around any gasket or seal under that washer. I.e., not down the tube from a loose clamp on the hose.
Not much, but it's there to be not right.
Is it an easy fix ? I mean after I rent the elephant to get the hex nut loose.
Power steering pump leak.
I don't quite follow your post, but if it's the banjo fitting you're talking about, it should have a copper washer on both sides of it. I've reused them without problems, but they really should get replaced, not reused. On the other hand if you're missing one...

Looking down on the pump from the driver side fender. Top power steering hose connects to a steel tube on the pump with a hose clamp.
That steel tube, at the bottom where it enters the pump, is circled by a flat hex nut. Under the nut is a washer,or a flange on the tube, recessed in the pump.
Leaking around that washer.
So, is it about loosening, removing the nut, washer, tube to replace defective seals or fiber washers ? Or junk a pump,...realoem.com does not show any seals or washers between the tube fitting and pump body.
Thanks, sorry for bad description.

I don't recall a washer. Sounds like either inverted flare fitting or pump surface is damaged.T.Hanson wrote:Looking down on the pump from the driver side fender. Top power steering hose connects to a steel tube on the pump with a hose clamp.

Try it without the washer? Note something flare end gets seized to nut making it difficult to tighten correctly

Three E12's and one R27

What, $43 for a hose clamp seems excessive?
It's a finely crafted German automobile!
Me thinks it's a error.
