C-Pillar Vent Removal

Post by JoshInAtlanta »

Before I start off on the path of destruction, I thought I would double check on the appropriate removal procedure for the little vents. I assume they just pop in and out with a little assistance, but with my luck they'd be bolted in.

Any tips would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Josh-
Mine just popped out with slight prying.
I'll take them off every time I wash the car, it's that simple.

That's what I thought, but now I won't have the anxiety hovering about as I take it off. Lucky for me BMW still makes them!

I would replace the nylon grommets or smear sylicon sealer on them when you put the grill back on.

Hi Josh
Don't forget to use a rag to protect the paint; although, you knew that.
I hope you found a home for your wheels. My ride looks awsome with new wheels & tires! 8) But, wow, I had to learn the car all over again!
Much better, though. Enjoy,,,,Greg
