The bottom one appears to be for a twin mass flywheel and self adjusting. I'm not sure it would work correctly. And if it's a picture of the actual product it appears the splines are different.
Not all clutches fit all bellhousings on M30s, but I think the removable one for Getrag 4 and 5 speeds will take any of them.

That SACHS Performance clutch kit is able to transmit at least 590 Nm and provides everyday suitability at the same time
(no "on/off"-clutch). You can easily replace it 1:1 against your old clutch and it will fit to your flywheel without any further
modifications.

so if Sachs online store are charging approx 820 Euro (350 + 400 + 70) for their full kit, and FCP Euro and Autohauz are charging approx $240 US for a Sachs kit, does that mean the the FCP and Autohauz are an inferior quality kit ( rebadged maybe) or is Sachs just taking a huge profit margin from naive buyers?

It's changing somewhat, but traditionally the manufacturer has been the worst place to buy something, meaning highest priced. I think they're set up to make things, not sell things at retail which is kind of an inconvenience to them so they make sure they turn a profit on them.

Sachs are saying ( via email ) the one they sell on the online store is a high performance one.
What I have offered you is a SACHS Performance Clutch Kit. As the name sais, it is a performance clutch kit being stronger and more durable.
The Disc has a different coating to the OEM one for more transmittable torque. That is where the price comes from. It is made in Germany, has a high quality standard and is all in all the best option for a car. It is very close to the OEM Clutch Kit in feeling and fits with the OEM Dual Mass Flywheel.
There is a break-in period of roughly 1000km but afterwards it should last you for a long time!
We are happy to answer any further questions you may have.
