Ignition buzzer on without key

My ignition buzzer turns on every time that I open the door....key or no key in the ignition.

I have plenty of other items to focus on, but given that it is annoying, I would not mind fixing it first. Naturally, I have removed the related fuse so that I could work in peace.

Any thoughts on the culprit here?

There is also a switch on the ignition switch assembly. It's the one that's kind of external with two little wires. Unplug that and you can have peace. I've been known to buy cars that aren't running and disable that irritating buzzer before I even get them running.
