Replacing Bosch sr995x starter - big heavy bastard - with Bosch sr441x - svelte and half the weight. Got old starter out after 8 hr struggle. Took apart: and the spring, sprang , when the two halves were disjoined so I don’t know it’s orientation for reassembly. Have spent hours envisioning correct orientation and I can’t get it. Would appreciate anyone’s help.

Can't fit new one back in. Is there a trick I'm missing ? Seems to be a spring clip in alternator that is critical to installing and I can't figure it out. After couple hours I'm at a loss with no clue. Simpleist projects take on their own life. Any help appreciated. Thanks.

Anyone been inside panel to fix the slider track - the small wheels that connect to lever and run on track . Wheels broke off and slider will not slide. Does not appear to be repaireable to me. Any one have spare that is for
